2nd Itaicine – Itaiópolis International Animated Short-Film Festival

In its second edition, Itaicine had an open call for animated short films from all over the world. Between September 25th and 28th, 2025, we're all meeting in the northern region of Santa Catarina: the city of Itaiópolis will be the stage for a huge party to celebrate cinema, arts and culture.

Free entries were accepted until June 23rd. The selected
films will be announced by August 25th, 2025.

In addition to the Competitive Exhibition, the Festival's full program also includes Special Exhibitions, courses, lectures, workshops and masterclasses. In this second edition, Itaicine reinforces its commitment to promoting, disseminating and valuing the audiovisual production of animated short-films, offering an accessible, inclusive and culturally diverse program.
